Job summary

A tutoring company in the UK is seeking QTS Tutors and Experienced Tutors to work with students in both school and home environments. The ideal candidates will have professional teaching qualifications and experience in SEND/SEMH education. This position offers flexible hours and competitive pay rates for QTS (£33) and Experienced Tutors (£31). Duties include providing tailored educational support and completing lesson reports. Ongoing hiring is available to meet diverse student needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of SEND/SEMH teaching experience.
• Enhanced DBS maintained on the update service.
• Three professional references required.

Responsibilities

We are looking for QTS Tutors and Experienced Tutors to work with students either within school or the home environment. Tutors will be required to provide Maths, English, or Science tuition.

This role is perfect for Tutors who can deliver a creative, flexible, holistic approach to learning.

QTS Tutors / Experienced Tutors responsibilities

• Working closely with students to provide a project-based curriculum to ignite passion for learning and support re‑engagement.
• Building positive relationships and utilising the best approach for each learner
• Completing lesson reports and providing feedback on progress

QTS Tutors / Experienced Tutors must have

• Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
• Minimum of 2 years of SEND/SEMH teaching experience
• Experience of safeguarding processes and health & safety procedures
• Enhanced DBS maintained on the update service
• Three professional references

You must be based in the UK and have the right to work in the UK
