Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking a passionate teacher to make a positive impact for pupils with complex needs in a supportive, structured environment. The role runs Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM - 03:55 PM, with a focus on safeguarding and collaborative planning.

The successful candidate will hold QTS or equivalent and a degree in teaching, with prior primary or special school experience. You will work closely with families, staff and external specialists to deliver high-quality lessons and monitor pupil

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
• Degree or equivalent teaching qualification required.
• Experience in a primary or special school setting, SEMH or autism experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with staff, families and external professionals.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and DBS clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging lessons meeting pupil needs.
• Lead development of a curriculum subject aligned with National Curriculum.
• Support every student to reach their full potential academically, socially and emotionally.
• Design tailored lessons addressing each pupil's requirements.
• Use effective behaviour management to create a safe learning environment.
• Collaborate with the team and external specialists to support pupil growth.
• Monitor progress and generate detailed reports for planning.
• Maintain safeguarding protocols and contribute to school community.
