Job summary

Randstad UK is seeking an energetic educator to teach pupils with complex needs in a safe, structured environment. You will deliver engaging lessons, lead curriculum development, and support students to reach academic, social, and emotional goals.

Expect a collaborative setting with therapists and external specialists, strong safeguarding, and DBS checks. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and a Qualified Teacher Status.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification.
• Degree or equivalent qualification relevant to teaching.
• Proven experience in a primary or special school setting, ideally with SEMH or Autism.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with families and professionals.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and suitability for DBS checks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging lessons for pupils with diverse needs.
• Lead curriculum development and ensure alignment with the National Curriculum and school objectives.
• Support students to reach academic, social and emotional potential.
• Design tailored lessons addressing individual requirements.
• Maintain a safe, structured learning environment and effective behaviour management.
• Collaborate with therapists and external specialists to support student growth.
• Monitor progress and produce reports for instructional planning.
