Job description

Job Title: QTS Teacher - Alternative Provision

Pay Rate: £160 - £230 a day

Location: Worcester

Start Date: 15th September

Type: 1 term contract initially (September to December)

Format: Part Time 3 days a week (Ideally Monday - Wednesday)

Hours: 8.30 - 16.00

Smart Education are working with a new Alternative Provision School located in Worcester. This school are looking to appoint a QTS Teacher to join them, ideally starting on 15/9/25 on an initial term contract. (September to December)

The role is offered on a part time 3 day a week basis and will see the successful Teacher overseeing the teaching of all subjects. There are currently 12 pupils in the school, aged between 5-16 each of whom has a 1:1 support worker. You will be responsible for panning, assigning and delegating work for the support assistants to complete with the pupils and overseeing, to ensure that the work is done.

The successful applicant will be a qualified Teacher and will work with support staff and pupils to provide engaging teaching for these pupils

  • QTS Teacher
  • Valid Child DBS (Or be willing to get one)
  • Patience, empathy and a commitment to serving the pupils you support to the best of your ability
  • Clear understanding and commitment to safeguarding
  • Ability to offer differentiated teaching as required
  • Strong communication and teamwork to work with the rest of the staff team.
