Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated QTS Tutor SEN in Cannock to provide one-to-one support for students across Staffordshire. You will deliver tailored lessons in core subjects such as Maths and English, helping pupils achieve their academic potential in a personalised learning environment.

The ideal candidate holds QTS, has experience with SEN, a solid knowledge of the UK curriculum, and is able to work 20 hours per week on a part-time basis.

Qualifications

• QTS required and essential for the role.
• Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
• Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum.
• Experience teaching core subjects including Maths and English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging one-to-one tuition sessions.
• Support students with SEN (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, etc.).
• Plan and adapt lessons to individual needs and learning styles.
• Build positive relationships to promote confidence and progress.
• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
• Create a safe, structured learning environment.
