Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver 1:1 learning plans for pupils.
• Apply a therapeutic approach to re-engage students.
• Provide structure in the pupil's daily routine and support educational development.
• Submit weekly progress reports detailing pupil progression to Prospero Teaching.

Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for an experience 1:1 Tutor in Staffordshire ideally with experience within a SEN setting.

Subjects areas include: Math, English, Science.

Contract/Position Details:

• Location - within the community or pupils home in Staffordshire
• Position - Primary Tutor
• Type of work - Contract
• Start date - ASAP
• Duration - ongoing support

• Minimum rate of pay - GBP25/hr
• Hours - 8am - 4pm*

Further Information:

The successful tutor will need to be patient, empathetic and be able to create/deliver learning plans on a 1:1 basis. A therapeutic approach may also be needed to re-engage students with their learning. The aim is to provide the pupil with structure in their daily routine and to continue their educational development, ultimately helping them return to an educational setting.

Prospero will work with you closely to monitor the progression with each pupil by asking you to submit weekly reports.

Tuition takes place generally in school daytime hours but occasional opportunities after school 3-4pm and evening occur. Sessions can range between 1-4 hours on a daily or weekly basis.
