Job summary

CBRE is seeking a QHSE Officer to support safe, compliant operations across both facilities and R&D environments in the UK. You will drive risk management, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a positive HSE culture.

The role covers inspections, risk assessments, Safe Systems of Work, contractor supervision, incident investigations, COSHH, and environmental responsibilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and collaboration with technical teams.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate required.
• COSHH, Incident Investigation, ISO 45001/14001 desirable.
• Experience in mixed environments: labs, workshops, facilities.
• First Aid, Fire Marshal, or spill response training helpful.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with UK HSE legislation and ISO 45001/14001.
• Conduct inspections of workshops, labs, and workspaces to identify risks.
• Develop and maintain Safe Systems of Work, risk assessments, and procedures.
