Job summary

Reed Specialist Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quality, Environmental & Health & Safety Manager for a growing manufacturing business. Lead the IMS, ensure ISO compliance and drive improvements across the site.

You will work with the Operations Director and leadership team to promote best practices, manage audits, and report on QHSE performance, fostering a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• Experience leading QHSE in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
• Experience leading external audits and maintaining accreditations.
• Excellent understanding of Health & Safety legislation and risk management.
• Proactive approach with a passion for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the site's Integrated Management System (IMS).
• Lead ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance activities and external audits.
• Develop, monitor and report on QHSE performance metrics.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement effective control measures.
• Lead investigations into incidents, non-conformances and root cause analysis activities.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions across the business.
• Support and develop a positive safety culture through training and engagement initiatives.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies, certification auditors and external stakeholders.
• Support sustainability initiatives and maintain relevant environmental accreditations.
• Provide regular QHSE reporting to the leadership team.
