Job summary

Envisage Recruitment Limited is seeking a hands-on QHSE Engineer for a growing manufacturing business in Redditch, Worcestershire. The role spans Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards across multiple locations, with regular travel to UK sites.

You will support manufacturing, warehousing and wider business functions to ensure compliance, improve working practices and build a proactive safety culture. This is a practical role with on-site involvement and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering or similar operational environments.
• Experience completing risk assessments and investigating incidents/near misses.
• Knowledge of corrective and preventive action processes and root-cause analysis.
• Experience conducting internal audits and supplier audits.
• Strong communication and organisational skills; able to engage with people at all levels.
• Willingness to travel regularly between sites.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve QHSE performance across the business with emphasis on practical Health & Safety support.
• Support manufacturing, warehousing and wider business functions to ensure compliance and improve working practices.
• Lead or support internal audits and manage non-conformances with root-cause investigations.
• Prepare KPI reports and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain documentation, procedures and controlled records; support supplier quality and evaluation initiatives.
