Terberg DTS UK is seeking a diligent QHSE Coordinator based in Elland to split responsibilities 50/50 between Health & Safety and Environmental duties. The role focuses on regulatory compliance, audits, training, and maintaining ISO management systems while promoting a safe, sustainable workplace.

Reporting to the Health & Safety and Quality Managers, you will conduct site inspections, manage COSHH assessments, and support continuous improvement across HSE activities at UK sites with occasional

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate is the minimum requirement.
• Proven experience in Health, Safety and Environmental roles.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.

Responsabilités

• Support H&S, Environmental and Quality Managers in delivering objectives and compliance.
• Conduct regular site inspections for health, safety, environmental, fire and equipment compliance.
• Identify workplace risks and support corrective actions.
• Complete COSHH assessments and documentation.
• Monitor environmental data including noise, air and water testing results.
• Support development, implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 systems.
• Conduct internal audits and layered process audits for compliance.
• Assist in EMS development and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate employee HSE training programmes and maintain records.
• Deliver inductions and in-house HSE training sessions.
• Coordinate fire drills, safety inspections and statutory checks.
• Maintain training, compliance and audit records in company systems.
• Provide HSE information to customers and external stakeholders.
• Support site management with practical HSE guidance.
• Monitor and report on HSE KPIs and drive improvements.
• Assist in annual HSE improvement plans.
• Engage with regulatory bodies and networks; travel to other sites as needed.
