  • Conducting regular site inspections covering health & safety, environmental, fire, and equipment compliance.
  • Identifying workplace risks and supporting the implementation of corrective and preventative actions.
  • Completing and maintaining COSHH assessments and associated documentation.
  • Monitoring environmental performance data including noise, air, and water testing results.
  • Supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
  • Conducting internal audits and layered process audits to ensure compliance with company standards and external regulations.
  • Assisting in the management and continuous improvement of the Environmental Management System (EMS).
  • Organising and coordinating employee HSE training programmes and maintaining associated records.
  • Delivering inductions for new employees and providing essential health, safety, and environmental information.
  • Delivering in-house HSE training sessions and awareness initiatives.
  • Coordinating fire drills, safety inspections, and statutory compliance checks.
  • Maintaining accurate training, compliance, and audit records using company systems and databases.
  • Providing HSE documentation and information to customers and other external stakeholders when required.
  • Supporting site management and employees with practical advice and guidance on HSE matters.
  • Monitoring and reporting on key HSE performance indicators and recommending improvements.
  • Assisting in the development and delivery of annual HSE improvement plans and initiatives.
  • Building relationships with regulatory bodies, service teams, and external stakeholders to support compliance activities.
  • Participating in HSE networks and forums to share best practice and drive continuous improvement.
  • Travelling occasionally to other company locations to support HSE activities, audits, and projects.
  • Supporting wider QHSE projects and initiatives as required by the business.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • A flexible approach and willingness to adapt to changing business needs.
Desirable Knowledge & Experience
