Tailored Technical Solutions Ltd in Dartford is seeking an experienced QHSE Advisor to strengthen Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards across UK sites. The role emphasizes QMS development, ISO compliance and internal auditing within an engineering, industrial environment.

You will drive non-conformance resolution, support CDM compliance, and work with R&D and service teams to embed HSQE across projects. Travel across Southern UK sites is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Quality/HSQE in engineering or industrial.
• Proven QMS management and internal audits.
• ISO 9001 knowledge; 14001/45001 preferred.
• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
• CDM regulations knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve QMS.
• Carry out internal audits and monitor ISO compliance.
• Support ISO 9001/14001/45001 across the business.

QHSE Advisor

A leading engineering and manufacturing business in the industrial cooling and HVAC sector is looking for an experienced QHSE/ HSQE Advisor to support and improve its Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards across multiple UK sites.

The role will have a strong focus on Quality Management Systems, ISO compliance and internal auditing, alongside supporting wider health, safety and CDM compliance across the business.

The Role

• Support, maintain and continually improve the company’s Quality Management System (QMS).
• Carry out internal audits, monitor compliance and support the business with ongoing ISO requirements.
• Support compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, with Quality being a key focus of the role.
• Manage audit findings, non-conformances, corrective actions and continuous improvement activities.
• Support the business as it develops quality and compliance requirements around an expanding nuclear project portfolio.
• Work closely with the company’s R&D / compressor test centre, supporting quality, compliance and HSQE standards within a technical engineering environment.
• Support managers, service teams and subcontractors with HSQE requirements across operational and project activities.
• Support CDM compliance across relevant projects and small works.
• Carry out branch and site audits across the company’s Southern service network, ensuring processes, documentation and standards are being followed consistently.
• Support investigations into accidents, incidents, near misses and quality issues.
• Monitor performance, identify trends and report findings to senior management.
• Promote a strong Quality, HSQE and compliance culture across the business.

What You’ll Need

• 5+ years’ experience within Quality, HSQE, QHSE or a similar compliance-focused role in an engineering, industrial or technical environment.
• Strong experience managing or maintaining a QMS.
• Hands-on experience carrying out internal audits.
• Good working knowledge of ISO 9001, ideally alongside ISO 14001 and 45001.
• Internal Auditor qualification or equivalent auditing experience.
• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent H&S qualification.
• Working knowledge of CDM regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing non-conformances, corrective actions, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to travel across multiple Southern UK sites.

Desirable

• Experience within engineering services, HVAC, refrigeration, M&E, industrial equipment or another technical service environment.
• Experience supporting external certification or surveillance audits.
• Experience within regulated or high-compliance environments such as nuclear, defence or critical infrastructure.
