Lonza in Slough, United Kingdom, is seeking a Scientist to join the QC Product Testing & Stability team. This is a fully site-based role in a GMP environment, focusing on analytical testing and data interpretation to ensure product quality and stability of therapeutic proteins.

The role involves preparing protocols and reports, supporting investigations and CAPAs, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to continuous improvement in a collaborative, high-precision lab setting.

Competenze

• GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biological lab experience.
• Experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, capillary electrophoresis or spectrophotometry.
• Understanding of cGMP principles in a quality-controlled lab.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and data interpretation.
• Excellent organisation and communication within a multidisciplinary team.

Mansioni

• Perform analytical testing on therapeutic protein samples using HPLC, capillary electrophoresis, spectrophotometry and other methods per GMP/SOPs.
• Review data for technical accuracy, interpret against specifications, and communicate observations to stakeholders.
• Prepare stability study protocols, testing summaries and technical reports.
• Support investigations, deviations, CAPAs and change controls, leading routine quality investigations when appropriate.
• Mentor colleagues, share knowledge and promote best lab practices.
• Contribute to lab operations through equipment monitoring, reagents management, and housekeeping.
• Collaborate with Quality Control, Quality Assurance and Manufacturing to meet requirements.
