Job summary

Lonza in Slough is seeking a detail-oriented QC professional to join the Raw Materials team. You will perform testing of raw material samples and document results in compliance with GMP, contributing to timely batch release.

The role requires experience in QC laboratories and a strong understanding of GMP systems. You will collaborate across teams, mentor junior staff, and drive continuous improvement to quality and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in QC laboratory and/or GMP manufacturing environment.
• Experience with investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to generate, interpret and report analytical data accurately.
• Strong GMP principles and quality systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing of raw material samples and document results in GMP contexts.
• Critically evaluate analytical data and escalate findings to QC Management.
• Review and approve data, records, and results by team members.
• Lead quality system activities including deviations, change controls, OOS/OOT investigations, CAPAs.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance GMP compliance, lab efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Manage changing priorities, communicate risks to timelines, and escalate delays.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Champion a culture of quality, compliance and continuous improvement per GMP.
