Job summary

Lonza in Slough is seeking a QC Technologist (Method Validation) for a 12-month FTC in a fully lab-based role. You will generate and document laboratory data from experimental work, plan activities, and support close, real-time collaboration to ensure precise manufacturing of medicines to high quality and safety standards.

You will work with colleagues across functions, maintain GLP/GMP compliance, and help troubleshoot technical challenges while developing your analytical skills and ownership

Qualifications

• Degree in a scientific or quality-related discipline
• Basic knowledge of analytical laboratory methods for use in protein analytics
• Outstanding organizational skills to manage tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address and resolve challenges promptly

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and deliver assigned project activities to ensure work is completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
• Analyze, interpret, and accurately record experimental data, contributing to technical reports, data tables, and project documentation.
• Support troubleshooting activities and participate in out-of-specification (OOS) and laboratory investigations to help resolve technical challenges.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and workspaces, including routine instrument maintenance, housekeeping activities, and monitoring reagent and consumable inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP/GMP) guidelines where applicable.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams to support the successful delivery of scientific and operational objectives.
