Job summary

Wagstaff Recruitment is recruiting a Quality Manager to oversee the QC department in Sittingbourne, Kent. The role reports to the leadership team and focuses on maintaining HSEQ compliance, developing the QC team, and driving improvements in product quality.

The successful candidate will have at least 3 years in a manufacturing or lab quality role, strong ISO 9001 knowledge, and excellent communication and reporting skills. 40k–45k salary, permanent, on-site location.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or laboratory‑based quality role.
• Strong understanding of inspection, testing, and quality control methodologies including ISO 9001 and working with certified products.
• Strong communicator and decision maker.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong communication and reporting skills.
• Desirable: Internal auditing experience.
• Desirable: Plastics experience.

Quality Control Manager, Kent

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm (39 hours per week)

Commutable from – Sittingbourne, Gillingham, Chatham, Maidstone, Rochester, Faversham

£40,000 – £45,000 DOE

Our client is looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join the team due to continued growth. The ideal candidate will work as part of a small team in a friendly working environment and be responsible for the QC department of the business.

Role & Responsibilities:
