Job summary

Agilent Technologies in the UK is seeking a QC Analytical Chemist to ensure raw materials, intermediates and finished products meet stringent quality and performance specifications at our Church Stretton site.

You will work with cutting-edge analytical instrumentation, conduct routine and complex testing, and contribute to method development and continuous improvement within a collaborative, regulated lab environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a closely related scientific discipline.
Hands-on practical experience in a Quality Control or analytical testing laboratory.
Strong proficiency with HPLC / GPC equipment, method application, and data analysis.
Desirable GC-MS or LC-MS skills to support specialized testing; FTIR, UV-Vis, ICP-OES/ICP-MS are a plus.

Responsibilities

Routine & Non-Routine Analysis of materials and products according to SOPs.
Test Method Development including validation and assays.
Quality, Compliance & Documentation of test data and OOS reports.
Product Release certification, stock control and release of conforming materials.
SOP Maintenance and updates to align with regulatory standards.
