Job summary

Agilent Technologies, Inc. is seeking a QC Analytical Chemist to join the Quality Control team at the Church Stretton site.

You will perform routine and non-routine testing of materials and finished products, develop and validate methods, and ensure data integrity for regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with Manufacturing, R&D, Engineering and Quality teams to drive method improvements and support product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or closely related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in QC or analytical testing laboratory.
• Strong proficiency with HPLC / GPC and data analysis.
• Desirable: GC-MS or LC-MS experience; other instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine chemical testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products according to SOPs.
• Develop, validate, and apply test methods to support product lifecycle and quality standards.
• Ensure data integrity and review results for compliance; report abnormalities.
• Release conforming materials and manage stock control.
• Maintain and update SOPs to align with regulatory standards and continuous improvement.
• Lead analytical projects with Manufacturing, R&D, Engineering and Quality teams.
• Provide technical support for investigations and cross-functional initiatives.
• Share knowledge and train laboratory staff.
