Qualifications

• University degree in chemistry or related subject.
• Proven industrial experience in analytical chemistry in a professional lab.
• Postgraduate studies (Master/PhD) preferred in organic or analytical chemistry.
• Strong knowledge in small-molecule analysis, especially HPLC and method development.
• Good knowledge of NMR, GC, IC and titration methods.
• Ability to troubleshoot methods, instruments, and unexpected results.
• Documentation skills and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support projects, run analyses, coordinate testing, and report progress.
• Perform routine analytical testing following SOPs and guidelines.
• Develop and validate analytical methods.
• Troubleshoot instrument issues and unexpected results.
• Maintain instruments via checks, calibration, and qualification tasks.
• Document data accurately and maintain reports.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of analytical data.
• Work to ISO standards for a safe, compliant lab.
