Quality Assurance Technician - Food Manufacturing

Location: Craigavon
Hours: Monday to Friday DAY SHIFT
Salary: Competitive with great package

We're currently partnering with a leading food manufacturer in Craigavon who is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join their team. This is a key position within the technical function, supporting food safety, product quality, and site compliance with industry standards and customer expectations.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Overseeing day-to-day QA activities on the factory floor and ensuring tasks are completed in line with production schedules.
• Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, and GMP requirements in line with BRC and customer standards.
• Monitoring raw material intake and relaying key information to operations.
• Completing final product checks including pack verification, labelling, date codes, and presentation.
• Assisting with supplier documentation and supporting technical audits.
• Delivering training and briefings on quality procedures and best practices.
• Conducting CCP checks, allergen control verification, and swabbing to support safe production line release.
• Verifying roasting processes and recording accurate data for traceability.
• Working cross-functionally with production and technical teams to address issues and implement improvements.

What You'll Bring:

Essential:

• Understanding of food safety principles and manufacturing standards.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Confident using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Dependable, adaptable, and quality-focused.
• A qualification in food science, quality, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar food production or QA role.
• Level 2 certification in Food Safety and HACCP.
• Internal auditing experience or training.
