The Compleat Food Group in Nottingham is seeking a QA Supervisor to lead the on-site Quality Assurance team at Riverside Bakery. You will ensure that food safety and quality standards are met across all shifts, supporting production to resolve issues quickly and maintain customer confidence.

Qualifications

• Relevant food manufacturing experience.
• Ability to use word, Excel and related IT packages.
• HACCP principles and practice.
• Allergen awareness-implications / related to labelling.
• Nutritional awareness.
• Hygiene and disinfection principles.
• Principles of risk assessment.
• Legal labelling –basic requirements.
• Basic knowledge of Weight legislation.
• Knowledge of technical KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that QA activities are carried out safely and report any safety concerns.
• Support production on resolving product safety and quality issues across shifts.
• Assist audits and visitor/documentation requests from customers.
• Maintain QA paperwork and ensure consistency across shifts.
• Conduct audits of processes, procedures and documents for compliance.
• Investigate incidents with QA Operations, Hygiene or Engineering staff.
• Assist with calibration and use of QA equipment and learning logs.
• Ensure timely QA task completion and documentation filing.
