Job description

QA Engineer – £50K – Remote – C# Experience Required

La Fosse has partnered with a UK-based client seeking a QA Automation Engineer to join their team and enhance testing processes.

This role requires candidates to be based in the UK with valid right to work, as sponsorship is not available.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct functional testing for web applications and APIs.
2. Use Postman to validate API endpoints before moving to test environments.
3. Collaborate with developers to ensure high-quality code deployment.
4. Bring automation experience to improve testing efficiency (Selenium, SpecFlow, or other tools are welcome).
5. Bonus: Experience with C#/.NET automation and framework development is highly desirable.
6. Nice to Have: Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 to assist in improving and fixing third-party integrations.

Key Requirements:

1. API testing skills using Postman.
2. Experience in functional testing (web & API).
3. Experience with test automation.
4. Ability to build or contribute to a test automation framework (C#/.NET).
5. A proactive approach to improving testing processes.
6. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365.
7. Test and defect management experience.

Interview Process:

Two-stage interview process: first stage via Teams, second stage in person.
