Job summary

Michael Page Technology is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to own testing strategy, QA, and go-live readiness for a portfolio of enterprise applications. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external delivery partners to ensure reliable, secure solutions.

You will lead testing activities, develop automated frameworks using C# and/or Python, and drive best-practice adoption across QA processes. Strong stakeholder management and ISTQB certification are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven software testing and QA experience in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience managing testing activities of third-party suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of functional, integration, regression, performance, and UAT testing.
• Experience developing automated test frameworks using C# and/or Python.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or equivalent test management platforms.
• ISTQB or equivalent testing certification.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test strategies, plans, and quality assurance frameworks across multiple projects and releases.
• Lead and oversee testing activities delivered by third-party suppliers and implementation partners.
• Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation rehearsals, and go-live readiness activities.
• Review and approve supplier test documentation, scripts, plans, and results.
• Define release quality criteria and provide recommendations on deployment readiness.
• Drive automation opportunities and encourage adoption of testing best practice.
• Manage defects through to resolution, working closely with technical and business stakeholders.
• Produce clear reporting on testing progress, risks, issues, and outcomes.
• Champion continuous improvement across QA processes, tooling, and governance.
