Luxoft is seeking a highly experienced QA leader to drive the overall QA strategy across multiple teams in the United Kingdom. The role emphasizes API and web services testing, automation framework architecture, and mentoring QA professionals to deliver high-quality software throughout the SDLC.

Candidates should bring 10+ years in software testing with leadership experience, strong programming skills in Java, Python, and JavaScript, and solid knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software testing with 3–5 years in leadership or architect roles.
• Deep expertise in test automation tools including Selenium, Playwright, and Appium.
• Strong programming/scripting in Java, Python, and JavaScript.
• Nice to have performance and security testing tool experience (JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Aware of AI tools and evolving tech (GitHub Copilot, etc.).
• Proficient in CI/CD and DevOps practices (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).
• Solid understanding of Agile, Scrum, and DevOps methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the overall QA strategy across multiple teams and platforms.
• Architect scalable, maintainable test automation frameworks and solutions.
• Lead and mentor QA teams, ensuring best practices and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps to integrate quality into the SDLC.
• Drive continuous QA process improvements, tools, and metrics.
• Evaluate new testing tools and technologies for adoption.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security protocols.
• Provide executive-level reporting on quality metrics, risks, and mitigations.
