Job summary

Savant Recruitment is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join a multidisciplinary Agile delivery team. You will drive testing strategy, hands-on testing, and automation to ensure high-quality releases across the software delivery lifecycle.

You will mentor colleagues, contribute to QA standards, and coordinate UAT with business stakeholders. Strong communication and experience with Azure DevOps or equivalent are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on testing and automation experience.
• Define test strategies aligned to requirements, scope and risk.
• Plan and execute manual, automated and exploratory testing.
• Lead UAT with business stakeholders.
• Manage defects, triage issues and support root-cause analysis.
• Provide clear reporting on test progress, risks and release readiness.
• Promote testability and quality across the SDLC.
• Coach and mentor other QA engineers and provide quality leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement test strategies aligned to requirements, scope and risk.
• Plan and execute manual, automated and exploratory testing.
• Design and maintain automated test suites and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform functional, regression, API, performance, accessibility and security testing.
• Lead and coordinate UAT with business stakeholders.
• Manage defects, triage issues and support root-cause analysis.
• Provide clear reporting on test progress, risks and release readiness.
• Use Azure DevOps or equivalent for test and defect management.
• Promote testability and quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to QA standards, frameworks and continuous improvement across teams.
• Coach and mentor other QA engineers and provide quality leadership where required.
• Strong software testing experience within Agile environments.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD.
• Experience across functional, regression, API and UAT testing.
• Strong defect management and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience contributing to testing strategy and quality standards.
