Job summary

Heeley Bank Care Home in Sheffield is seeking an enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to design and deliver a varied programme of activities for residents, promoting wellbeing and social engagement.

You will create monthly activity calendars, support individuals to participate in meaningful days, and assist with budgeting and fundraising. DBS checks and references are required, with a flexible rota including weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care setting and/or developing and organising a range of activities/events.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative and produce engaging activity materials.

Responsibilities

• Create, plan and implement monthly activity programmes for residents.
• Foster an atmosphere of social inclusion and purposeful days.
• Work within a budget and contribute to fundraising efforts.
