Hesketh Park Lodge Care Home in Southport, Merseyside, is seeking an Activities Coordinator to lead engaging, person-centred activities that promote wellbeing and social interaction for residents.
You will plan a varied programme of group and one-to-one activities tailored to individual interests and care needs, build relationships with residents and work as part of the care team to create a warm, inclusive environment.
Hesketh Park Lodge Care Home is a modern, purpose built 79 bed care home in Southport, Merseyside, delivering high quality residential, nursing, dementia and respite care within a supportive, person centred environment.
Role Overview
As Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing daily life by delivering engaging, meaningful and person centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction.
You will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one to one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs. Building strong relationships is essential, enabling a clear understanding of preferences and supporting inclusive participation for all individuals, including those living with dementia.
Working as part of the wider team, the role contributes to a positive and stimulating environment where individuals feel valued, active and connected. This role is open to both experienced candidates and those new to care, with training and support provided to help you develop in the role.
The successful candidate will be required to work alternate weekends.
