Job summary

NHS Professionals based in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Purchasing and Facilities Administrator to join our friendly team. You will manage purchasing tasks, support invoices, and provide first-class service to internal and external stakeholders while ensuring efficient administration of daily operations.

The role is office-based four days a week with one day remote. You should have strong IT skills, including Excel, and be comfortable liaising across levels within a large organisation.

Qualifications

  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong numerical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with people at all levels.
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience working in a service desk environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK when required.

Responsibilities

Role summary:

We are looking for a Purchasing and Facilities Administrator to join our friendly team based in our Hemel Hempstead. As a Purchasing and Facilities Administrator your role will be to provide first class customer service to internal and external stakeholders through managing the administration of various tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Raising purchase orders and maintaining accurate purchasing records in line with company processes.
  • Supporting invoice processing and resolving supplier queries to ensure timely and accurate payments.
  • Coordinating business purchases and services, including stationery, equipment, travel bookings, couriers, and uniforms.

This role is office based in Hemel Hempstead 4 days per week, with the flexibility to work from home 1 day per week.
