Job summary

Solutions Limited in Southall is seeking a Purchasing Assistant – Food to join a state-of-the-art facility. You will manage supplier relationships and play a key role in supply chain and production planning to ensure materials are available for engineering and production teams.

This on-site role offers Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00, with training, progression opportunities and a clear path for development within the business.

Do you have purchasing experience within a food or FMCG manufacturing environment? Are you looking to join a manufacturing organisation that offers first-class training, development, and long-term career progression?

Due to continued growth, my client is looking for a purchasing assistant to join the team at their state of the art facility in Southall. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a range of supplier relationships, negotiating new and existing agreements. You will also play a key role in supply chain and production planning, ensuring that all materials are available for the engineering and production teams. This is a key role within the business, reporting directly to the manager and working closely with the wider teams.

This is a great opportunity for a highly organised person who wants more responsibility, stability and the chance to make their next role their own. The business are at the forefront of the food industry and have an excellent staff retention and development record. Due to another year of expansion, the company are looking to make multiple hires during the early stages of the year and will be looking to promote within when future roles open up.
