Elix Sourcing Solutions is recruiting a Purchasing Assistant - Food for a state-of-the-art facility in Southall. The role focuses on managing supplier relationships, supporting production planning and ensuring materials availability for engineering and production teams.

It offers first-class training, development, and clear progression paths. Working Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 on a hybrid basis and on-site at the Southall site, you will report to the procurement manager and join a growing

Do you have purchasing experience within a food or FMCG manufacturing environment? Are you looking to join a manufacturing organisation that offers first-class training, development, and long-term career progression?

Due to continued growth, my client is looking for a purchasing assistant to join the team at their state of the art facility in Southall. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a range of supplier relationships, negotiating new and existing agreements. You will also play a key role in supply chain and production planning, ensuring that all materials are available for the engineering and production teams. This is a key role within the business, reporting directly to the manager and working closely with the wider teams.

This is a great opportunity for a highly organised person who wants more responsibility, stability and the chance to make their next role their own. The business are at the forefront of the food industry and have an excellent staff retention and development record. Due to another year of expansion, the company are looking to make multiple hires during the early stages of the year and will be looking to promote within when future roles open up.
