This role involves processing invoices, reconciling statements, and liaising with departments to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in accounts payable, proficiency in Excel, and strong attention to detail, in a supportive work environment.

£24,000 - £28,000 (DOE)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their busy finance team within the construction sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your duties will include:
Processing high volumes of supplier and subcontractor invoices
Data entry, invoice coding, and reconciliation of supplier statements
Liaising with internal departments regarding purchase orders and approvals
Resolving supplier and subcontractor queries
Assisting with month-end and year-end processes
Ensuring compliance with internal controls and company policies
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications
High attention to detail with excellent time management
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Previous experience in the construction industry (desirable)
Familiarity with COINS software (desirable)
