Job summary

Clifton High School is seeking a Pupil Support Coordinator on maternity cover to join the School Office team. The role focuses on pupil wellbeing, attendance, and pastoral care, with particular emphasis on the Senior School, and requires calm, approachable communication.

You will be the first point of contact for pupils, parents and staff, manage records, support events, and work with pastoral, medical, and wellbeing teams to ensure smooth daily operations during term-time and the 20 holiday

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a busy office or customer-facing environment is essential.
• Experience within a School setting, knowledge of SIMS and experience working with children and young people would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Providing support and guidance for pupil enquiries throughout the School day.
• Working closely with pastoral, wellbeing and medical teams to support pupil welfare.
• Assisting with attendance monitoring and related administrative processes.
• Managing lost property and overseeing School mobile phone procedures.
• Supporting the organisation and administration of School events and activities.
• Producing documentation, maintaining records and providing general School Office support.
• Contributing to the efficient day-to-day operation of the School.
