Job summary

Spring Trust invites applications for a Pupil Support Lead. This fixed-term maternity cover is part-time at 28.8 hours per week across 39 weeks, with a salary band of £25,535–£26,917 (FTE £37,262–£39,278).

The successful candidate will be committed and passionate about the wellbeing of children in our care and will act as a key liaison with external partners, agencies and families. You will work with the senior leadership team to deliver safeguarding operationally, support designated officers,

Qualifications

• You will have good interpersonal skills, strong communication skills, be diplomatic, trustworthy and sensitive.

Responsibilities

• work with senior leaders todeliver safeguarding operationally across the school facilitating theprotection of all health and well-being;
• to be a deputy designated ChildProtection Officer;
• to have the lead overview ofCAFs within the school;
• to support LAC pupils across theschool;
• to attend multi-agency meetingsincluding Child Protection Conferences;
• to implement unique bespokesafeguarding overarching systems to monitor and track all concerns regardingvulnerable children where necessary;
• to provide pastoral support toteachers and staff, addressing the needs of children who require support toovercome barriers to learning at school and at home in order to achieve theirfull potential; and
• to work with individuals andgroups of children, their families and other professionals to address issuesrelating to behaviour, learning and SEMH.
