Ashgate Croft is seeking a Pupil Support Assistant to provide care and support to pupils with complex learning difficulties. You will help with personal care, toileting, feeding and assist with therapy programmes as directed by therapists and teachers.

The role involves supporting fellow staff and preparing classroom activities. A DBS check is required due to access to children and vulnerable adults; the post is full-time (32.5 hours) Monday to Friday during 39 weeks per year.

Competenze

• Experience in caring for pupils with learning difficulties and complex needs.
• Ability to assist with personal care tasks and prescribed therapy programmes.

Mansioni

• Support pupils with personal care needs (toileting, changing, feeding).
• Assist teachers with classroom preparation and therapy programmes under guidance.
• Supervise and support other Teaching Assistants/Pupil Support Assistants as needed.
