Job summary

The Clare School is seeking permanent Care Assistants to support pupils with learning, physical, sensory, communication and medical needs. The role involves hands-on personal care, continence support, postural management and feeding including gastrostomy feeding.

The position is part-time, term time plus one week, with a daily 08:45 to 15:45 shift; training is provided and an enhanced DBS check is required. Visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with continence care and toileting
• Keep pupils comfortable and treated with dignity at all times
• Assist with feeding and drinking, including gastrostomy feeding
• Help with postural management and using standing frames
• Support pupils in physiotherapy routines
• Aid pupils with a wide range of learning, physical, sensory, communication and medical needs across the school
