Ashgate Croft is a large and complex area special school within Learners' Trust seeking a Pupil Support Assistant to provide support to teaching staff and assist pupils with personal care needs.

You will help with toileting, feeding programmes, therapy tasks under supervision, and prepare classroom activities. This role requires care experience and a DBS check; hours are full-time 32.5 per week, term-time 39 weeks per year.

Competenze

• Experience in supporting pupils with learning difficulties and complex needs.
• Willingness to assist with personal care tasks and mobility.

Mansioni

• Support pupils with personal care needs (toileting, feeding as directed).

Ashgate Croft is a large and complex area special school.We provide education and care for pupils with learning difficulties, including autism, profound and multiple learning difficulties and associated communication, behavioural and physical needs, and we follow We follow a bespoke curriculum in order to meet each child's needs which is informed by the EQUALS curriculum

We are seeking to appoint a Pupil Support Assistant to provide support and guidance to other Teaching Assistants/Pupil Support Assistants as needed. You will be responsible for supporting pupils’ personal care needs by assisting them with toileting, changing, gastrostomy feeding and eating programmes. You will be required to carry out prescribed therapy programmes under the guidance of therapists and teacher and to assist teachers with general classroom preparation.
