An established industry player is seeking a dedicated individual to assist teachers in enhancing pupil achievement and wellbeing. This role involves providing general support tailored to the needs of the class and ensuring a safe environment for all students. Assist teachers in promoting achievement and raising the standards of pupil attainment and provide general support in relation to the needs of the class and individuals' care, health, wellbeing, and safety; to ensure a secure and safe environment.
There is a requirement to be flexible in school location within the cluster, according to individual circumstances and work with a range of pupils from P1 - S6.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
Working pattern: Monday, Thursday and Friday mornings 9.30 am - 1.20 pm.
Fixed term: for a period not exceeding 04/07/2025.

This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
