Job summary

Brantridge School in Haywards Heath is seeking a dedicated Pupil Support Assistant to join our team. You will work closely with pupils and teaching staff to create a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment, helping pupils access learning and participate positively in the school day.

Your role focuses on supporting social, emotional, and behavioural development in line with SEMH approaches, building strong relationships with pupils and staff, and contributing to a calm and structured

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children or young people, ideally within an education or support setting.
• Understanding of, or interest in, supporting pupils with SEMH needs and additional challenges.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Patience, resilience and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.

Responsibilities
