Job summary

Forest Oak School is seeking two motivated Teaching Assistants to support two pupils, one in Key Stage 5 and one in Key Stage 2. Working under the Senior Leadership Team, you will help deliver high-quality learning, teaching and assessment, contributing to improved pupil achievement and progress daily.

The role requires NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, with experience in supporting learners, including those with additional needs.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or other relevant childcare qualification.
• Experience in working with learners, preferably with additional needs.
• Ability to interact well with learners and teachers in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, reliable, and able to engage pupils in learning and development.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of learning, teaching and assessment to raise achievement.
• Assist two pupils in Key Stages 2 and 5 under SLT guidance.
• Maintain pastoral support and act as a first point of contact for parents where appropriate.
