Job summary

Forest Oak School in Birmingham is seeking two Band C Teaching Assistants to support learning, teaching and assessment for pupils aged 4 to 18 years with moderate learning difficulties.

Applicants must hold NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or an equivalent childcare qualification, with experience supporting learners, including those with additional needs. You will interact well with learners and staff, and contribute to a culture of trust and respect.

Qualifications

• Must hold an NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or other relevant childcare qualification.
• Experience in working with learners, preferably with additional needs.
• Demonstrates commitment, enthusiasm and energy to inspire learners.
• Ability to interact well with learners and teachers in a culture of mutual trust and respect.
