Job summary

The Parkside School in Norwich is seeking a Pupil Inclusion Coordinator to lead safeguarding, attendance, and welfare across the school.

You will coordinate referrals to CAMHS and Early Help, conduct home visits, and monitor attendance and AP provisions to support pupils with SEND/SEMH. The role requires resilience, excellent communication, and a current UK driving license for home visits and AP settings.

Qualifications

  • Essential: Level 2+ qualification in Education, Social Care, Childcare, or relevant discipline.
  • GCSE English and Maths (C/4 or above) is required.
  • Desirable: DSL training certificate.
  • Desirable: Mental Health First Aid or trauma-informed practice qualifications.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) in line with KCSIE and local guidance.
  • Monitor attendance data and create individualized attendance plans for at‑risk pupils.
  • Coordinate referrals to CAMHS, Early Help, Family Support, and other local services.
  • Oversee Regular checks for pupils in Alternative Provisions and ensure safeguarding standards are met.
