You will work with the pastoral team to deliver evidence-based interventions for pupils across key stages and help create action plans to improve wellbeing and engagement.

You will advise on strategies, monitor impact with data, and maintain strong relationships with staff, pupils and parents to ensure positive outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant degree or professional qualification in education, youth or social work or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of child protection and safeguarding policies and legislation.

Aufgaben

• Contribute to school improvement through evidence-based interventions aligned with EHWB priorities.
• Improve emotional wellbeing through programmes for identified pupils, individually or in groups.
• Identify pupils needing support with HoYs and develop strategies to meet their needs.
• Intervene with personal issues affecting performance and advise leaders on action.
• Monitor interventions with data to show impact and progress.
• Enable pupils to regulate emotions, build self-esteem and resilience.
• Coordinate support for pupils in lessons and assist integration.
• Support pupils with social environment integration.
• Contribute to best-practice development in pastoral care across the school.
• Provide regular feedback to pupils, staff and parents on targets and progress.
• Flexibly meet needs of targeted pupils and place the child at the centre.
• Develop relationships with parents and advise on supporting wellbeing.
• Assist Pastoral Vice Principal with staff feedback and recommendations.
