Job summary

CV Technical is recruiting a Pump Stores Engineer to join our Gainsborough operation. You will manage engineering stores, control inventory, and support the maintenance team by ensuring the right parts are available when needed.

The role suits an experienced engineer with a strong background in stores management, pumps, and CMMS usage. Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm, 40 hours per week in a stable, structured engineering environment.

Salary £35,838.12 per annum.

Qualifications

• Experience working in engineering stores and inventory management.
• Experience with pneumatic pumps is desirable.
• Strong understanding of stores and inventory control.
• Proficient with CMMS systems; Parana preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering stores and maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Organise, control and maintain stock of engineering parts and equipment.
• Support the maintenance team by ensuring the correct parts are available when required.
• Maintain accurate records using a CMMS system.
• Carry out general stores duties while maintaining 5S standards.
• Work with pneumatic pumps and associated engineering equipment.
• Ensure the stores area remains organised, efficient and compliant.

We are currently recruiting for a Pump Stores Engineer to join a well-established engineering operation based in Gainsborough.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with a strong background in engineering stores, inventory management and pumps, looking for a stable Monday-to-Friday role.

The Role

• Manage engineering stores and maintain accurate inventory levels
• Organise, control and maintain stock of engineering parts and equipment
• Support the maintenance team by ensuring the correct parts are available when required
• Maintain accurate records using a CMMS system
• Carry out general stores duties while maintaining strong 5S standards
• Work with pneumatic pumps and associated engineering equipment

About You

• Previous experience working within engineering stores
• Experience working with pneumatic pumps is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of stores and inventory management
• Good computer skills and previous experience using a CMMS system - Parana preferred
• Strong organisational skills with a good understanding of 5S
• Positive, proactive and can-do attitude
• Able to work effectively as part of an engineering team
