Job summary

Attega Group Ltd is seeking a Pump Engineer to join our client’s team, performing electrical and mechanical duties to ensure pump systems operate as specified and completing on-site repairs, maintenance and installations.

The position is full-time and permanent, Monday to Friday with overtime flexibility. Salary is up to £50,000 depending on experience, plus overtime benefits and standard company coverage such as a van and fuel card.

Qualifications

Previous experience as Pump Engineer.
Wastewater experience is preferred.
Full driving license is required.
Have your own standard tools (specialist equipment is supplied).
Excellent customer service is expected.

Responsibilities

Carry out maintenance, repairs, commissioning and installations of pump systems and associated equipment.
Conduct preventive maintenance checks and routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure equipment reliability.
Fault finding/diagnosing equipment problems and providing timely and effective solutions; upgrade installations as needed.
Participate in Emergency Call Out rota.
Work with sewage and effluent systems, and in confined spaces where required.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and provide reports/photos of pumps and equipment.
Document activities, service reports and logs to maintain traceability.
