We seek a Sales Executive to drive new business across central and local government, health, and other public sector bodies, building a robust pipeline from scratch and guiding opportunities to close.

Qualifications

• Some experience in new business sales, ideally within UK public sector technology or consulting services.
• Interest in and willingness to learn to sell across multiple government departments and sectors.
• Working knowledge of UK government procurement frameworks, processes, and rules, or a strong willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• New Business Development: Proactively identify and prospect new sales opportunities across UK central government, local government, health, and other public sector bodies.
• Help build and maintain a pipeline of new logo and new contract opportunities from first contact through to close.
• Open conversations with departments Scrumconnect has not previously worked with, as well as identifying new opportunities within existing accounts.
• Support commercial discussions and contract negotiations, escalating to senior colleagues where appropriate.
