Job summary

Capsticks LLP in Leeds offers a two-week Summer Vacation Scheme from 21 June to 2 July 2027. You will support real work in a legal team, under a dedicated supervisor, with feedback to help you grow.

The scheme helps you understand Capsticks’ work, culture, and potential training contracts for September 2028 or beyond. You should be a penultimate or final year law student, or graduate, aiming for at least a 2:1.

Qualifications

• Penultimate or final year law students, or graduates considering a career change into law.
• On track for or have achieved at least a 2:1 in undergraduate degree.
• BBB at A-Level or 120 UCAS points in an equivalent course.

Responsibilities

• Support real work in one of Capsticks' legal teams during the two-week placement.
• Be guided by a dedicated supervisor and receive constructive feedback on performance.
• Attend court or meet with clients where possible and learn about the firm and its culture.
