What to Expect

During your two-week placement, you'll have the opportunity to support real work in one of our legal teams, contributing to a variety of tasks and the possibility to attend court or meet with clients. You'll be supported by a dedicated supervisor and receive constructive feedback on what you're doing well and how you could be even better.

The scheme also includes:

  • Training and development activities, including a reflective paper to summarise your experience on the scheme.
  • Networking opportunities with trainee solicitors, partners, associates, and central business services colleagues.

Please note:

  • Whilst we appreciate you may choose to use a range of sources and generative AI tools to help you prepare for our application process, the content of your written application should be your own words. Doing the right thing is important to us as one of our values, so we want to hear your authentic voice and what matters to you, rather than generic answers or responses where AI does all the talking.
  • You may only apply for one location per application cycle and should not submit multiple applications with different email addresses.
  • We understand that feedback is important, however due to the volume of applications received, we are unfortunately unable to provide feedback at the application form stage or following the psychometric assessment.
