Job summary

Capsticks Solicitors LLP invites penultimate or final year law students, graduates, and select non-law students to apply for its two‑week Summer Vacation Scheme in Birmingham, running 21 June to 2 July 2027. You will work alongside our legal teams, receiving supervision and feedback, with the potential for a future training contract beyond September 2028.

Participants gain hands‑on experience, attend court or client meetings where possible, and benefit from networking opportunities and insight

Qualifications

• Penultimate or final year law students, final year non-law students, graduates or those considering a career change into law.
• On course for or have achieved at least a 2:1 in their undergraduate degree.
• BBB at A-Level or 120 UCAS points in an equivalent course.

Responsibilities

• Support real work in one of Capsticks' legal teams during the scheme.
• Attend court or meet with clients when opportunities arise.
• Benefit from dedicated supervision and constructive feedback throughout the placement.
• Engage in training and development activities and networking sessions.
