Job summary

Morson Group is seeking an experienced Interaction Designer to support a major public sector digital programme. The role focuses on creating engaging, accessible, user-centred digital experiences for content-rich and public-facing websites, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role involves hybrid work with attendance at a nearest office two days per week, and the contract length is 6 months, with in-scope IR35.

Qualifications

• Experience designing public-facing, content-led websites and campaigns.
• Proficiency with WordPress and collaboration with editors/publishing teams.
• Strong skills in accessibility, responsive design and information architecture.
• Experience in agile teams and user-centred interaction design principles.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, accessible user journeys and navigation models.
• Create content-heavy, public-facing website designs.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Delivery Managers, Researchers, Content Designers, Developers, Accessibility Specialists.
• Translate research findings into practical design solutions for live and future services.
• Develop prototypes and iterate designs based on user feedback and testing outcomes.
• Maintain design assets and reusable components in Figma.
