Morris & Spottiswood in Warrington or Leeds is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead public sector projects on a hybrid basis. You will ensure safe, on‑time delivery, quality and client satisfaction across multiple live sites in the UK.

You will manage project teams and coordinate with commercial, procurement and operations, maintain strong client relationships, and drive programmes using Asta Powerproject or MS Project.

Formación

• Extensive experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Experience working for a blue-chip contractor.
• Strong leadership and line management capability at a senior level.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound commercial awareness and proactive problem-solving.
• Ability to work flexibly and lead teams.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end delivery of public sector projects, ensuring safety, programme, quality and commercial objectives are met.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication throughout each project lifecycle.
• Lead and coordinate project teams, including site managers and subcontractors, while supporting development of operational staff.
• Work closely with the Commercial team to manage contract finances, budgets and cost controls.
• Oversee procurement strategies, subcontractor management and materials planning with Procurement.
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and internal H&S Management Systems.
• Plan, programme and phase works at tender stage and project outset using Asta Powerproject or MS Project.
• Manage and chair client, subcontractor and internal team meetings effectively, delegating appropriately.
